She had a few contenders for worst place, just like he had. Prison, certainly. There were worse prisons she could have been in, worse countries, but knowing that she was going to spend the rest of her life there had been difficult to accept when she hadn't even committed that crime. Section in general, honestly, because there was in some ways even less freedom than in prison.

"Anywhere with a civil war," she finally answered. "People are cruel in general, especially in a war, but they seem more cruel in those kinds of wars."
