That was a good solid cop non-answer, and she hid her smile at it. Russell knew when to keep his mouth shut. It was an important tool for a cop. Too bad that cop back in Paris hadn't been able to do that or he wouldn't have needed to end up in Section. She'd handled that badly, she knew, but part of it was definitely due to him not backing off when he had to know he should.
